An effective solution is to use a heating film designed specifically for this purpose. The heating film, which is glued directly to the rear surface of the mirror, raises the temperature of the mirror and allows water droplets to evaporate. Heating films guarantee a clean, vapour-free mirror surface.

PREPARATION FOR INSTALLATION


A power supply (~230 V) must be brought to the mirror installation site. First, an electrical box must be installed under the plaster, to which power will be supplied from the power line. A connection will also be made in the box between the heating film power line and the power supply (in the electrical cube). The foil can be activated in two ways: via a separate switch or via a common switch integrated into the room lighting.


Instructions:

  1. Wash the mirror with a product designed for cleaning mirrors. Avoid products that may leave greasy marks. Attach the film to the back of the mirror. Remember to leave a few centimetres from the edge for the mirror adhesive.
  2. Carefully start gluing the film to the back surface of the mirror.
  3. Using a soft cloth or sponge, carefully stick the film to the back surface of the mirror, getting rid of any air bubbles. Gradually pull the protective film in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.
  4. You can proceed to make the electrical connection of the film and mount the mirror on the wall.  Note: During installation, do not use sharp tools that could damage the mat. The film must not be shortened or cut.
