The DB 6060 product is a single-component, high-strength adhesive with an excellent, aesthetic finish, designed for precision bonding of a wide variety of materials, whose unique formulation allows curing with both the DB 5900 activator and UVA light, guaranteeing fast, durable and reliable results even under demanding conditions.

Its extremely fast curing makes it ideal for joining glass to metal and other materials - when joining UV-impermeable components, an activator is used, while if at least one of the materials is UV-permeable, the adhesive can be cured using radiant heaters.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND MODE OF APPLICATION
BONDING WITH DB 5900 ACTIVATOR
- Soiled surfaces should be degreased with DB Cleaner 3200. Prepared surfaces should be dry and at room temperature.
- Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces to be joined and the DB 5900 activator to the other surface. Do not mix the adhesive and activator.
- Join the two components and correct the alignment of the components in relation to each other.
- Press for approx. 30s and then remove excess adhesive and activator with DB Cleaner 3200.
- After approx. 3-6 hours the joint becomes fully strong.
BONDING WITH UVA
- Degrease the soiled surfaces with DB Cleaner 3200. The prepared surfaces should be dry and at room temperature.
- Apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces to be joined.
- Join the two parts, remove any air bubbles and correct the positioning of the parts relative to each other.
- Expose the joint with a UV lamp on the UV-permeable side for an appropriate time (according to the UV bonding instructions).
- Remove the adhesive release with DB Cleaner 3200 or DB Super Cleaner.
